YEO Seng Chong

Seng Chong co-founded Yeoman Capital Management with his wife in 1999.

Prior to that, Seng Chong worked in the corporate and government sectors. He was Corporate General Manager at listed Centrepoint Properties from 1995 to 1999, China properties General Manager at listed Metro Holdings from 1994 to 1995 and Deputy Director of International Marketing at listed Singapore Technologies Industrial Corp from 1990 to 1994. He was at the Singapore Trade Development Board from 1984 to 1989, including 4 years as Assistant Commercial Representative at the Singapore diplomatic mission based in Beijing. He began his career as an engineer with engineering contracting firms McDermott International and CDC Construction Pte Ltd from 1981 to 1984.

Seng Chong graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from McGill University, Canada and holds a postgraduate PED diploma from IMD, Switzerland. He is a registered PE with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore since 1987.

Man On joined Yeoman Capital Management in 2013. 

Man On started his career with Ernst and Young in London in 1991 as an auditor in the Financial Services Group and also served as a consultant on secondment to the Emerging Markets Banking Group. In 1995 he joined Paribas Capital Markets in London as a sell-side bank analyst and was transferred to Singapore in 1996 to start up Asian banks research. He was a sell-side bank analyst in Deutsche Bank Securities from 1997 to 1999, and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Securities from 2000 to 2001. He moved to HSBC Asset Management in Singapore in 2001 where he managed the Singapore and Thailand equity mutual funds with total assets under management of SGD 300m, and covered Malaysia as part of the Asian equity team before leaving in 2010 after 9 years. 

Man On graduated in 1991 from Cambridge University in the UK with a Master of Arts degree in Economics. He is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW and also a CFA Charter Holder.

LIM Mee Hwa

Co-Founder, Co-Owner & Non-Executive Director

Mee Hwa co-founded Yeoman Capital Management with her husband Seng Chong in 1999.

Mee Hwa started her career as a property officer with Lim Kah Ngam (S) Pte Ltd in 1976, and subsequently became property manager. She left in 1985 to accompany her husband on a diplomatic posting to Beijing. From her return to Singapore in 1990 until 2001, she was Investment Manager at Lim Kah Ngam (Investment) Pte Ltd.

Mee Hwa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Singapore.

Sonny TAN Hock Sun

Non-Executive Director

Sonny has been a Non-Executive Director of Yeoman Capital Management since 2013.

Sonny started his career in 1983 with the Singapore Economic Development Board. In 1994, he left his position of Deputy Director (Planning) and joined Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Securities as Associate Director (Research). In 1996 he was appointed Director of Business Analysis at Visa Asia. In 1997, he joined F&N Ltd as General Manager (Strategic Planning) and went on to hold several senior management positions. In 2009, he started Wysdom Advisory, a consultancy providing M&A advisory in Asia. From 2014 to 2017, Sonny was the first CEO of the newly formed REIT Association of Singapore.

Sonny is currently an advisor to RHT Strategic Advisory Pte Ltd. He is also an adjunct lecturer in corporate finance at a local university and a Trainer at the Civil Service College.

Sonny earned his Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Industrial Engineering and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Massey University in New Zealand. He has been a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors since 2005 and is a member of the Singapore Economic Development Board Society.
